What is a CDR File?
A .cdr file is a vector graphics file created by CorelDRAW, a popular professional design application. CDR files can contain complex illustrations, logos, layouts, and typography in a scalable vector format. Because CDR is a proprietary format, viewing or editing these files normally requires CorelDRAW — which is expensive, subscription-based, and Windows-only.
Mac users are especially affected — CorelDRAW has no native Mac version, so anyone on a Mac who receives a CDR file has no built-in way to open it. This viewer solves that problem instantly.

Why your CDR file will not open
There are only a few reasons a .cdr refuses to open, and they need completely different fixes. Find yours below.
You do not have CorelDRAW at all
Nothing else on your computer reads CDR properly — not Preview, Acrobat, Photoshop or Windows Photos. Upload the file above to see it, then convert it to PDF or PNG if you need to keep or send it.
CorelDRAW says the file was made in a newer version
CorelDRAW is not backwards compatible: 2019 cannot open a file saved by 2024. The file is fine, your copy is just older. Downgrade it to your version and it opens normally.
You are on a Mac
CorelDRAW has not shipped a macOS release since 2019, so there is no Mac application that opens CDR natively. A browser-based viewer is the only practical route.
The file arrived as a .zip you cannot open
CorelDRAW files sent through WhatsApp, Telegram or email are often renamed to .zip in transit. Upload it here anyway — a genuine CorelDRAW package is detected and read correctly even with the wrong extension.
It opens, but everything is blank or black
That is usually a font or a linked-image problem rather than a broken file. Rendering it here shows the artwork as the designer saw it, which tells you whether the file itself is intact.
