What you can do with this PSD viewer
See the design the way it was saved
You get the finished image with every layer combined — exactly what the designer was looking at when they hit save.
Review mock-ups and templates quickly
Website mock-ups, social media templates, banners and flyers often arrive as PSD. Approve or reject them without installing a 2 GB application.
Full resolution, zoom right in
Large PSDs are rendered at their real pixel size, so you can check small text, edges and retouching up close.
Nothing to install
Works in any browser on Windows, Mac, iPhone and Android. Files are deleted automatically after 3 hours.
How to open a PSD file online

Our servers turn it into a high-resolution image, usually in under 30 seconds.
Zoom, pan and download the JPG — or convert the file into the format you need.
What is a PSD file?
A .psd (Photoshop Document) is the working file of Adobe Photoshop. Unlike a JPG or PNG, it keeps everything the designer was working with: separate layers, masks, adjustment layers, text that can still be edited, and effects.
That is great for the designer and awkward for everyone else. Windows Photos, the Mac Photos app and phone galleries cannot open PSD, and Photoshop itself is only available as a monthly subscription.
When Photoshop saves a PSD with its default "Maximize Compatibility" setting, it also stores a flattened copy of the whole image. That flattened copy is what other programs — and this viewer — show you.
Why your PSD file will not open
These are the usual reasons a PSD refuses to cooperate.
You do not have Photoshop
No built-in app on Windows, Mac or phones reads PSD. Upload it here to see it, then convert it to JPG or PNG to share it.
The file is huge and your computer struggles
PSDs with dozens of layers can be hundreds of megabytes. Rendering happens on our servers, so even a slow laptop or phone can view them (up to 150 MB on the free plan).
Only one layer, or a blank image, shows up
The file was probably saved with "Maximize Compatibility" turned off, so there is no flattened copy inside. Ask the designer to re-save with it on, or to export a JPG or PNG.
It is a .psb file, not .psd
PSB is Photoshop's Large Document Format for very big images. It is a different format and is not supported here — ask for a PSD or a flattened export.
You need the layers, not just the picture
A viewer shows the finished design. To work with individual layers you need an editor that understands PSD.

PSD compared with the formats you can share
PSD is a working file, not a delivery file. This is what changes when you convert it.
